   6 year update: Both mattresses are still intact and now available for the great grandkids. This is a substantial, comfortable, affordable, portable bed for kids. I had a house full of family for a week long vacation and bought two of these for the 7 and 9 year old. We easily and quickly inflated them with the air pump from another bed. You can buy these pumps for less than $13 so you shouldn’t fault the bed if you don’t have a pump. I covered them with $5 twin bottom sheets from Walmart which were too big but it didn’t matter. I use RoseJeopal Bed Sheet Straps Crisscross to keep the sheets secure (see photo). I have twin size inflatable mattresses but they are overkill with little ones and and take up more of your floor space. The 9 year old slept in a ball which left 2/3 of the mattress empty. I tried sleeping on it one night and it was comfortable but too short. Deflating became a game as the grandkids all wanted to take turns laying on it as the air went out. Although we are traveling, we will keep these mattresses with us because they are so useful. I stored both mattresses and sheets in a 37 qt Sterilite gasket box (24x18x7) (see photo). Addendum: This is the easiest way to help teach a child to not wet the bed without using pullups. Some kids aren’t bothered by wet diapers but most don’t want to sleep in a wet bed. Using this mattress, the child can get up in the morning, change, and put the sheets in the laundry without the trauma of fussing parents.

   I needed a short air mattress for the back of my SUV and this was the right length. The 7 inch thickness is also very comfortable. It would be a challenge to blow up and deflate manually, but I used an electric inflator to blow up and deflate it fast. The flocking on top is very thin, but it is better than the plain plastic. I was disappoint it came in pink, and it shows all the smudges easily. The description does say color may vary so you may also get a pink-or not. This mattress will be ok for occasional use for kids, but it probably won’t hold up over extended use.

   I bought these, originally, for this birthday sleepover which worked out fabulously! I’ve used them for when other kiddos spend the night with my kiddos & they all enjoy having their own beds. Each have said they’re comfortable while sleeping. Got twin sheet sets from Walmart for 4 bucks that fit perfectly! The box said no more than like 100 lbs but we’ve had kids up to 120 lbs sleep with no issues. The only downside is they’re really hard to blow up even with an air pump! Took like 30+ minutes the first time until I figured out where to squeeze on the nozzle. Also, my air pump that deflates things took forever to deflate as well.. It doesn’t take more than 5 minutes to inflate & deflate my sup board to 15 psi & these are nowhere near that much. Your hand will probably get tired of holding the nozzle squeezed so tightly to get the air in & out… Other than that they’re a great buy!

    Great purchase they do take a while to inflate but this maybe easier with Intex pump I used the electric air bed pump and it took a good 20 mins to fully inflate. Bed were a hit with daughter and niece for sleep over and fit perfect with the kids tents in pic.

    My son always had a trundle bed, so when we had sleepovers his guests always had an easy bed to sleep in. It was old and worn down and this past Christmas we decided to redo his room for a Christmas present as well as a birthday present. Which included a new loft bed. He has so much stuff so we needed to use the underneath space for toy storage ECT. So I was like when it’s time for a sleepover, I’ll just get a little blow up mattress. I got this it came on time, I bought a seperate pump that unfortunately was not much help since I didn’t realize that the hole was so tiny like a pool toy. So I pretty much blew up this mattress by myself lol and it didn’t take long at all and it was comfy and held up all night for a 9 y.o. we thought it might’ve been to small from the pictures, but for the price it was worth a shot. It did the trick and I deflated it and plan on using it for more sleepovers to come. 👍

    Came in clutch! Our old blow up bed that our young nephews were sleeping on developed a slow leak and they look like they were in a taco! Needed something quick and came across this. $16 for 2 and the boys had theirs own little bed. They slept like champs! Good quality, size and survived boys ages 4 and 5. I will say get and electric pump, pumping these up with a hand pump is SO Slow and tiring.

    I bought 4 of these mattress for my grandbabies for sleepovers, and they were a huge hit! They are definitely for younger kids depending on their size, my 13 year old did not fit, but my 5 and 3 year old had plenty of space and room to grow. They felt very sturdy, just the right size for what I needed, and were easily deflated and put back in their bags after the sleepover. The kids were beyond excited about having their own bed in the living room! So happy about this purchase, one word of advice, buy a good pump. I bought a cheap one, $10, took forever to inflate. I’ll be investing in a good pump for my great little mattresses!
