I am extremely disappointed with the Intex 64427ED Dura-Beam Delux Ultra Plush Fiber-Tech Inflatable Air Mattress. I purchased this product on June 29th, and I can confidently say it has been nothing but a complete waste of money. First and foremost, the durability of this air mattress is abysmal. Less than three months after purchase, it succumbed to a catastrophic failure. Imagine the shock of waking up one morning only to find yourself on the cold, hard floor because the mattress had swelled and torn apart precisely at the point where the factory glue was supposed to hold it together. This shoddy craftsmanship is utterly inexcusable and has left me with a terrible impression of Intex as a brand. To make matters worse, when I attempted to contact the seller to address this issue, I received zero response. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend your hard-earned money on a product, only to be met with complete silence and indifference when it fails. What’s even more infuriating is that when I reached out to intexdiscount.com for assistance, they were equally unhelpful. They merely redirected me back to the unresponsive seller, despite the seller’s apparent disinterest in addressing customer concerns. My experience with the Intex 64427ED Dura-Beam Delux Ultra Plush Fiber-Tech Inflatable Air Mattress has been nothing short of a nightmare. I strongly advise anyone considering this product to think twice and invest a little more money in a proper, reliable mattress that won’t leave you stranded on the floor with no support or recourse. This purchase has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I would caution others to steer clear of this subpar and frustrating product.

Update: took this on a school trip that lasted several days for some of the kids to use. Performed as expected! I bought a cheap bag to put it in that works better than the bag it came in, but so far, the bed does exactly what it’s supposed to do! Great air mattress! I tested it out before a trip, so I only have limited experience with it. But it inflated easily and was comfortable. I am a bigger girl, so I’m used to inflatable beds having that “dip” right around the hips and lower back. That didn’t happen with this bed! Love the new tech. Deflating was a little slower and tedious than I expected it to be given the description, but it wasn’t difficult. However, putting the thing in the bag it came with? No matter how tight I tried to roll it/ fold it and make sure the air was out, it was never going to work. Bag needs to be about twice the size it is. (See photo) I swear, it’s maybe smaller than those bags they give you at Skechers! I also took a little issue with the built in cord storage. Fantastic idea… but execution is kinda meh. I pride myself on being able to rewrap cords. I’m one of those insane people that will rewrap Christmas lights exactly like how they came out of the package. We never lose a strand to tangling! But this? It was close. I barely got it to fit back inside. Had they made the storage compartment just a little bit bigger, it would have worked so much better. Overall, I’m glad I picked it up and it should serve us well! But there are still a couple little improvements they could make.

My guest is very happy with this airbed. It’s comfortable and roomy for her petite size. It works as described and remains inflated throughout the night. There is very minimal air loss, which might be a design feature to improve the bed’s comfort level. The internal electric pump feature is easy to operate; just plug into the nearest outlet and turn the knob as per instructions. Overall, great quality for the price.

So, I order the bed after searching for months and returning other beds from other companies. This bed is simply awesome. It took some heavy beating on our road trip to Northern California. Camp ⛺️ sites, beach side sleep over and friend sleep overs. Not only the bed is super comfortable but it is a heavy duty and yet soft to the touch. Three people slept on this bed very comfortable during cold nights and hot summer nights. It inflates super fast and easy and stays inflated. Yes, stays inflated The price I paid for it saved me hundred of dollar’s Vs. staying at hotels. Camp sites do not have outlets so make sure you have a power inverter since this is an electric power inflatable bed. No, no batteries on this one. I truly recommend this bed. Worth every penny. I took a picture to show you how tall it actually is. Once you inflate the bed you will simply find it attractive and will jump right on it.
